Service Description
Comprehensive and personalized service for academics, thoughtfully designed to not only guide you through each step of the PhD application process but also to enhance your research plan and refine your theoretical framework. These sessions are based on the most advanced grant writing techniques used for the applications to the most prestigious grants and fellowships worldwide (MSCA Actions, ERC grants, PRIN, FIS, Banting, British Academy). Advanced research design methodologies will allow you to hack the selection process of your PhD application. This service includes: ▪ Free introductory session (60 min.) ▪ [one session] Practical grant writing exercises specifically designed for PhD applications: learn to articulate your STATE-OF-THE-ART, OBJECTIVES and METHODOLOGY clearly and effectively (approx. 80 min.). ▪ [one session] revision of the practical grant writing exercises (approx. 60 min.). ▪ supportive materials: receive teaching materials, and a personalized blank form to aid your application. ▪ [two sessions] submission of two single versions of the PhD project followed by a coaching session (approx. 60 min.) in which the main structural issues of the document are identified, particularly in the development of the methodology, the objectives, and the work plan. The consultant guarantees the ability to read and review the project within three weeks from the delivery date. ▪ [one session] a specialized training session for the preparation of academic interviews where you will learn: how to answer the most common questions, how to "sell" your project in any context and in front of any committee, and how to communicate the fundamentals of your project concisely and effectively (approx. 120 min.). ▪ FREE BONUS: scientific consulting only in the fields related to consultant’s research areas. ▪ coaching is available in English, French, or Italian. ▪ CONSULTING FEES: € 3.000,00.
Policy
GENERAL - Fees are inclusive of all consultations, research, analysis, review activities and training materials. - This offer will be valid for a period of 30 days from the above date. If none of the services have been provided, either the consultant or the client may terminate the contract through email communication (raimondo.riccardo@yahoo.it) within 30 days. - All intellectual property and data generated during the consultancy process will remain the confidential and proprietary property of Riccardo RAIMONDO. DISCLAIMER - The consulting sessions do not guarantee that the CLIENT will win the grant. By signing this document, the CLIENT acknowledges that there is no connection between the consultancy offered here and the final judgment of the reviewers who will evaluate his/her application. - The CLIENT acknowledges that for the consulting sessions to be truly effective, s/he must carefully study the official documents of the call s/he wishes to participate in and independently write his/her research project. - The CLIENT acknowledges that the CONSULTANT cannot draft any section of the project for him/her, nor can the CONSULTANT provide the CLIENT with any type of information (scientific, institutional, personal, etc.) necessary to draft all sections of the project. - The CLIENT acknowledges that once any part of the service has been provided, it is no longer possible to request a refund of expenses. - The CLIENT attests to having verified the professional capabilities of the CONSULTANT. LEGAL FRAMEWORK 1. This appointment is governed by Articles 2230 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code. 2. This contract is to be understood as a one-time arrangement. 3. All disputes arising from this contract, including those relating to its formation, interpretation, execution, validity and legal existence, shall be subject to the arbitration procedure provided for by Legislative Decree no. 28/2010 and subsequent amendments and integrations (most recently Law no. 98 of 9 August 2013, amending Legislative Decree no. 69/2013). The PARTIES irrevocably declare that they will scrupulously comply with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, without having recourse to any other similar institution or to the courts. 4. For matters not provided for in this contract, the PARTIES expressly refer to the law and, in the absence thereof, to custom and usage.
