Service Description
Do you need a quality check for your research proposal? Do you already have a thorough understanding of the procedures and best practices but want to ensure your project meets all the criteria? This service is for you. A consultant will evaluate your project as if s/he was a member of the selection committee. During the video call, you will receive a general assessment of your project based on the most common evaluation criteria. This service includes: ▪ General evaluation of a single version of the project followed by a coaching session (approx. 60 min.). The consultant guarantees the ability to evaluate the project within two weeks from the delivery date. ▪ An evaluation grid featuring comments, recommendations, and general tips. The evaluation will include all the following sections (if addressed in the project): - Pertinence of the project’s objectives - Soundness of the methodology; - Quality of supervision and training; - Appropriateness of the researcher/PI’s professional experience; - Credibility of the measures to enhance the career perspectives of the researcher; - Suitability and quality of the measures to maximize expected outcomes and impacts; - The magnitude of the project’s contribution to the scientific, societal, and economic impacts; - Effectiveness of the work plan, assessment of risks, and appropriateness of the effort assigned to work packages; - Capacity of the host institutions and participating organizations. Once you have booked the service, you will need to upload/send your project. We only accept the following formats: PDF, DOC, RTF. In the form, please clearly indicate the funding program and/or the call you wish to participate in, if applicable. This service includes only one evaluation of a single project. The consultant will assess only the narrative part of the project. During the call, you will receive tips on the most advanced grant writing techniques to enhance your project. What you will not receive with this service: - Training in grant writing techniques; - Coaching in research design techniques; - Consultancy in design thinking techniques; - Stylistic review/revision; - Translation; - Copy editing; - Similar services.
Policy
GENERAL - Fees are inclusive of all consultations, research, analysis, review activities and training materials. - All data generated during the consultancy process will remain the confidential and proprietary property of Riccardo RAIMONDO. DISCLAIMER - The CLIENT acknowledges that this service includes a general evaluation of the research proposal only in its narrative section and that this service does not include: training in grant writing techniques and research design, stylistic review/revision, translation, copy editing or similar services. - The consulting sessions do not guarantee that the CLIENT will win the grant. By signing this document, the CLIENT acknowledges that there is no connection between the consultancy offered here and the final judgment of the reviewers who will evaluate his/her application. - The CLIENT acknowledges that for the consulting sessions to be truly effective, s/he must carefully study the official documents of the call s/he wishes to participate in and independently write his/her research project. - The CLIENT acknowledges that the CONSULTANT cannot draft any section of the project for him/her, nor can the CONSULTANT provide the CLIENT with any type of information (scientific, institutional, personal, etc.) necessary to draft all sections of the project. - The CLIENT acknowledges that once any part of the service has been provided, it is no longer possible to request a refund of expenses. - The CLIENT attests to having verified the professional capabilities of the CONSULTANT. LEGAL FRAMEWORK 1. This appointment is governed by Articles 2230 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code. 2. This contract is to be understood as a one-time arrangement. 3. All disputes arising from this contract, including those relating to its formation, interpretation, execution, validity and legal existence, shall be subject to the arbitration procedure provided for by Legislative Decree no. 28/2010 and subsequent amendments and integrations (most recently Law no. 98 of 9 August 2013, amending Legislative Decree no. 69/2013). The PARTIES irrevocably declare that they will scrupulously comply with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, without having recourse to any other similar institution or to the courts. 4. For matters not provided for in this contract, the PARTIES expressly refer to the law and, in the absence thereof, to custom and usage.
